Here is a beautiful alternative to a Mother's Day card this year.
I love to solder and make 3D items. Over the last couple of years I have made soldered Xmas items but came up with an idea to make them all year round.
So I came up with the idea of little decorative dolls.
This one of a kind decorative doll measures approx 6" from crown to toe.
I have added a 3D silver crown to her glittered head and a beautiful vintage face. Above her shoulders is a row of diamantes. Ive also added ribbon to the top of her head so she can be hung up.
Her arms and legs dangle from her body giving her movement, each limb has been covered with seed beads and silver, 2 toned bicone beads.
Her skirt is made of net with a silver swirl around it and a belt of silver ribbon.
I have hand cut the glass pieces for her body and hand soldered it together using lead free solder. Inside the body is a summer themed background featuring flowers and butterflies, in front is a sentiment saying Happy Mother' Day.
If you are stuck for ideas, this would make an ideal gift this Mother's Day.
