I've worn glasses since I was eleven, I've had some 'special' frames over the years including a spearmint green, John Lennon style pair (those were dark days) AND I had to wear safety specs OVER THE TOP of my normal glasses in science lessons resulting in an extremely low street credit score. Despite those early trials I love wearing glasses and I dedicate this print to all my spectacle wearing sisters especially those born before the advent of lens thinning technology, there but for the grace of God go I (and my -7.50 prescription). Remember everyone; Four eyes good.

Full description
Typographical print in the style of the iconic Snellen eye test art. Typography based on the classic optician's chart spells out 'smart men make passes at girls who wear glasses'.
I'm a proud wearer of spectacles and bit of a type geek so, following some research into eye test charts I decided to design a typeface based on Snellen's optotypes (real charts only use the letters C, D, E, F, L, O, P, T, Z). I then used this typeface to spell out this positive twist on the famous Dorothy Parker quote (her version is "men seldom make passes at girls who wear glasses", the cheek!). Finally, I printed the final design in my home studio-cum-garage. This is a hand made product, small variations add to the charm.
