I love cutting lino, carving patterns and shapes. Here in my shop you will find the end results, original linocut prints. Each one is unique, some are single coloured and others are multi coloured. Enjoy buying and browsing from my shop. Once an order has been placed I try to post it out for delivery within 1-3 days.

Seated Cat Linocut and Mono Original Print.
Artist Proof no.1
This is a three colour hand printed original linocut and mono print.
I was experimenting with mono printed stripes for the background of this print, this is Artist Proof no.1 from a series of three so far - each one is different in that I have placed the plant form in slightly altered positions. For a softer effect the base colour of the cat is carved from bulletin board which is cork based and has a mottled printed result.
The blocks are individually inked up and printed in succession once the previous colour has dried.
The Cat is inspired by my own cat who loves to place her front paws on her tail and stare at me!
Printed onto Fabriano Academia 200gsm paper. Actual print area measures approx H25cm x W18cm. Paper size approx H35cm x W28cm.
PLEASE NOTE THIS ITEM IS SOLD UNMOUNTED AND UNFRAMED
An ideal frame for this print is 40 x 30cm RIBBA frame from IKEA.
