Full description
A statement bib necklace hand made from sterling silver and anodised aluminium. The aluminium backings are purple, turquoise and lime and have mini patterns of spring buds, butterflies and seed heads. The shapes are constructed from sterling silver wire formed and soldered together using traditional silversmithing techniques.
The patterns on the aluminium are created digitally and applied as a resist. I then dye the metal, seal it and remove the resist which leaves the pattern in the silver colour of the aluminium.
I can make the necklace with different colours or patterns on the backing, feel free to contact me if you would like a different version.
The necklace is hung from a sterling silver chain and the overall length is approx. 48cm / 19 inches which sits just under your collar bone.
Please note your necklace may vary very slightly from the image as each one is completely handmade.
Presented in a recycled Kraft gift box embossed with my logo.
