This gorgeous handmade bird box with bold white flowers and colourful stripes will be the talking point of the garden..
It will make a fabulous and unique gift for a birthday, retirement, thank you, and a variety of other special occasions too. It would be an ideal present for a mum, sister, aunty, or Grandma (or anyone else you can think of) and would make a very unusual feature in any garden. The birds will love it too.
Inspired by a flower against a vertical panelled fence in our own garden, the bird box has stripes and 9 flower shapes. The stripes are painted red, grey, sage green and ivory and the flowers are white with black centres.
The Flowers bird box is carefully handmade, by us here at Lindleywood, from high-grade sustainable European redwood pine (also known as Scot's Pine) supplied by a small local woodmerchant. It is then handpainted with water-based wood paints suitable for exterior use. These paints, by Little Greene, a small independent British manufacturer from the northwest of England (who have been creating paints since 1773), enable us to create beautiful products that are non-toxic to plants and wildlife.
The roof lifts off for easy cleaning , the box comes with full mounting and care instructions (we even include the screws) and it is a usable bird box
The bird box measures approximately 25cm (h) x 14cm (w) x 18cm (d).
