Full description
This glass coaster was fused by me in my studio. The glass was heated up to around 800 degrees celsius in a small glass fusing kiln and then brought to annealing temperature to make it strong. When cooled, a glass decal was applied to the coaster and then it was returned to the kiln for a fire polish, melting the design permanently into the glass. This whole process takes over 16 hours to complete.
This coaster has an 'I love you' design on clear glass. It has been fully annealed to make it strong and is suitable for use with hot tea or coffee cups but not pans straight from the oven. It would make a great gift, secret santa or stocking filler. Ideal for Valentine's day.

Not suitable for children - this is made from real glass and needs to be treated with respect - it may have sharp edges if broken. It is, however, made from thick annealed glass so is fairly robust for everyday use.
