The perfect card for when you want to let someone know how much they mean to you.

- Blank inside for your own message.
- Hand-set in 18-point Gill Sans and two printer’s fists.
- Printed by hand on an Adana 8x5 with a custom-mixed bright pink ink.
- A6 (10 x 15 cm), 350gsm white card and brown kraft envelope, both FSC certified and made in the UK.
- Packaged in a clear, sealed biodegradable cornstarch bag.
- Shipped in a board-backed envelope via Royal Mail 1st Class (UK) or Royal Mail International.

Please note that each card is printed individually, so there can be slight variations in colour and impression. But then that’s part of the charm of letterpress printing! Colours can also vary across viewing devices.

The printer’s fist, or manicule, originates in the scribal tradition of western Europe. The earliest handwritten manicules appear in the Domesaday Book (1086) and were used in the margins to highlight points of interest or mark corrections. This practice continued even after use of the printing press became widespread in the 1450s. Eventually the printer’s fist was made in type and it became a popular element in advertising and informational signage, while still serving its original purpose. We’ve used two vintage printer’s fists to make a point.
