Snake's Head Fritillarys used to grow in my garden in Spring. We planted them as bulbs (they were a gift from my friends Susie and Angela I thnk who are keen gardeners) and nurtured them over several years until they grew into a healthy patch nodding in the breeze each Spring. They were eventually wiped out by a particularly wet Spring several years ago but now here they are resurrected and with gentle care will last and be enjoyed for a long time.
