Snake's Head Fritillarys used to grow in my garden in Spring. We planted them as bulbs (they were a gift from my friends Susie and Angela I thnk who are keen gardeners) and nurtured them over several years until they grew into a healthy patch nodding in the breeze each Spring. They were eventually wiped out by a particularly wet Spring several years ago but now here they are resurrected and with gentle care will last and be enjoyed for a long time.

Full description
This lovely Spring flower has been captured in Cloisonne enamel work on fine silver and fired in my home kiln. The background is a lovely transparent blue like the sky in early Spring.The half closed umbrella shape of the Fritillary flower is speckled in Lavender and Purple tranparent enamels with the stamens picked out in a pale yellow opaque enamel hanging below the flower. The reverse side of the pendant has been enamelled in a glorious transparent celestial blue.
The pendant is 27mm in diameter and comes with a choice of a Sterling Silver 16" snake chain or 18" Popcorn chain both with 1 and a 1/2 inch extender added. (both chains shown in the pics)
