This traditional construction technique used is called 'beaded, standing wool' and dates back to as early as the 1870s. Rugs were often made with strips of worn out clothing, blankets etc.

Full description
A one-of-a-kind, handmade textile hanging decoration in shades of grey with white and lemon yellow.
This little cloud hanging decoration is made from felt. Each individual spiral is hand cut, coiled and sewn to create a unique and colourful pattern.
The piece has a small metal hanging loop on the reverse for wall mounting, or it would look equally at home on a shelf or mantel piece.
It will come wrapped in tissue, with a small, matching blank tag.
The decoration measures approx 4 inches (10 cm) in width by 3 inches (7.6 cm) in height by 1/2 an inch (1.2 cm) in thickness.

The decoration will be mailed out in a 100% recycled box.
