Full description
I've made this pretty lavender bag from some lovely rescued linen (I love to recycle fabrics whenever I can).
On the front I have hand embroidered a posy of daisies (a favourite childhood flower) which complement perfectly the almost oatmeal shade of the linen. There is a loop of jute twine for hanging and a piece of pale grey ribbon tied into a bow finishes it off.
The bag measures approximately 8.5 cm by 11 cm and is filled with Yorkshire lavender (nothing else).
A very pretty way to add fragrance to your room, drawer or clothes, it would also make a lovely gift.
To release more of the lavender fragrance just give it a little squeeze now and then (this releases the natural oils in the dried lavender).
