Show your partner how much you love them! This is a made to order piece; I will engrave your initials on to a heart carved into a piece of 6cm X 6 cm (sizes may vary slightly) of very special 'flashed' red glass. The piece is then edged in copper foil and leaded, then a chain is attached. In my shop you will also find a plain carved heart without the added initials.
Whats so special about 'flashed' glass?
Flashed glass is mouth blown glass made by St Just in France, It is a clear glass which then has a layer of coloured in this case deep red glass enameled over the top. this layer can be carved or sanded into with acid or tools to uncover the clear glass below This gives the glass a lovely 3D finish.
During purchase just leave a note on the order or send me a message with the initials you would like engraved or if there are any other ideas you would like to discuss!
All my pieces are now supplied with a non damaging, stick on hook. these work very well on glass and are very quick and easy to attach and remove meaning you don't have to put any screws into your window frames!
