Full description
This greeting card is of the Yorkshire Post Building in Leeds. The original image was a screenprinted artwork by myself, Leeds based illustrator Simon Lewis. The image is of the Yorkshire Post Building, originally produced in 2013. The brutalist building was designed by John Madin and opened in 1970, it was home to the Yorkshire Post and Yorkshire Evening Post for 42 years but has now been demolished. It’s a 4 colour screenprint, each colour derived from a detailed drawing to give a bright and vibrant overall image.
The card has been digitally printed onto a textured 300gsm matt white card.
It's sized - 5x7", 12.7cm x 17.8cm landscape when folded.
