Full description
This stunning nuno felted silk scarf has been made using a blend of gorgeously soft merino wool in various shades of purple and pink. A very fine layer of woollen fibres have been laid over a dark purple silk chiffon base scarf and nuno felted to it. The scarf has been felted on both sides.
The nuno felting process is a technique that allows the woollen fibres to migrate through the silk and bind with it.
The resulting scarf is soft and lightweight and drapes beautifully adding a touch of luxury to any outfit, smart or casual. It is a dress length scarf and measures approximately 128cm x 47cm (50.5 x 18.5cm).
A lovely gift for any occasion. The listing includes the gift box shown in the final photograph.
Hand wash in warm water, do not wring. roll in a towel to remove excess water, reshape while wet and press with a cool (wool/silk setting) iron.
