Most of my silver pieces have their origins in nature & I like the organic, natural look that creates. For that reason I leave the imperfections where they are.
I made this shell from a mould taken from a sea shell found by a friend on the beach in Kent. She was kind enough to let me borrow it before she made the original into a pendant!

Full description
I used a cast of a real shell to create this unique, hand crafted fine silver one. I like the detailed texture & organic feel it has. That is why I stopped short of polishing it to a high shine - it didn't seem to want it..
At 2.5cms by 1.8cms, this piece will work as a pendant or could even be a charm on a chunky bracelet. One photo show a coin beside it (for size comparison only)
It was created with precious metal silver clay so is 999 fine silver, is fitted with a sterling 925 silver jump ring & is suspended from a sterling silver lightweight trace chain of 16”.
Presented in a gift box for safe keeping.
