Full description
Wet felted by hand, this seamless felt bag has a simple tree design on the front.
Merino wool has been used to felt the body of the bag. The tree design and handles have been made using dark grey Shropshire wool tops. Machine stitching has been used to strengthen the handles. The bag lining has been block printed by hand with my own leaf pattern and is printed in grey onto 100% natural calico fabric using fabric screen printing inks. The bag has a magnetic closure.
Approx dimensions for the body of the bag are 32cm (at it's widest) and 20cm high and the handles are 74cm in length and 2cm wide.
The felt making process makes each bag unique as each time the design is felted it will never quite turn out the same.
