I love using coloured beads and stones as a focal point for my work and I was particularly drawn to these "viridian" coloured Czech glass crystals. The Czech Republic has a long tradition of glass making and produces many lovely coloured beads with different effects. These particular beads are known as "firepolished" which means they are returned to the fire after they have been cut into facets to give them an espcially glossy finish. They provide the perfect counterpart to the green iridescence of the peacock pearls.

Full description
These delicate little earrings were created from colourful viridian (blue green) Czech crystal glass beads and grey peacock pearls which have a lovely green iridescence. Pearls are the June birthstone. They measure 35 mm or 1 3/8" in length and are mounted on my own sterling silver findings, forged here in West Sussex. These fun little drop earrings come carefully packaged in their own gift box.
