Knickers were one sewing project I had never tried until quite recently, but as soon as I'd made my first pair, I was hooked! Such fun to make and the results always make me smile!
The 'made from vintage' knickers indulges my passion for rummaging around vintage fairs for fabulous finds...any excuse!
If you're wondering about the name, Adventures with Doris....I do love listening to a bit of Doris Day whilst sewing (and maybe a bit of a sing along too!) and this is definitely an Adventure! I hope you'll come along with me!

What a cute pair of handmade knickers!
Made from a vintage, super soft, Parisian silk headscarf. These are a unique pair of comfortable, bikini cut knickers, that sit low on the waist, with a soft, cotton jersey gusset. The waist and legs are finished with pretty, black picot elastic. The knickers are topped off with a black ribbon bow.
Made in a Size 3, to fit 37-38" hips.
The knickers are machine washable at 30°, although Doris does recommend a good old fashioned hand wash for your delicates!
Adventures with Doris knickers come delivered in a lovely gift box, which measures 195x195x50mm. And for a limited time, the price also includes free U.K. 2nd Class postage. Multiple orders will be placed in one box, unless you specify otherwise. If your purchase is to be posted outside of the U.K. then please contact me for delivery options.
