I felt like making a medieval lady and Isobella sort of developed, in the way that these sculptures do.

Full description
This is a fabric sculpture designed for the garden or can be used indoors too. She has been finished to be outdoors but is so unique and gorgeous that she will look equally at home inside perhaps in the conservatory.
Isobella has to cover her head, in her period circa 16OO, to uncover the hair meant a lady of ill repute. If a 'working lady' wore headwear the ladies of the court would rip it off their heads.
I made Isobella in shades of beige, grey and mushroom, as dyes were not plentiful in the 1600's and to add authenticity, and she will blend into the garden nicely.
She is a garden sculpture and has been constructed on a threaded centre post so she can be fitted into a drilled paving stone and a nut placed on the back to hold her firmly.
Meausures: approx 1 metre including rod (exact measurement to come)
Base not included
