Stourbridge and the actual site I work at is world famous for its glass production. Having recently had access to glass working equipment I was inspired to make a large piece of fused glass wall art for my partner as a present as he really likes Mondrian.
Once it was complete we realised in the studio that it was a great looking piece and looked for other ways to use the designs so we have made cufflinks, earrings, coasters all of which will be available here soon plus some big pieces of wall art too.

Full description
These are made from individual hand cut pieces of glass, each colour is a separate piece and then heated to 810 degrees C in an electric kiln at which temperature the glass becomes liquid and forms a single piece.
The nature of the process means that each piece will be unique with its own individual idiosyncrasies dependent on how that piece reacted in the kiln.
After some 24 hours of controlled heating and cooling the glass is removed, inspected for flaws, the edges diamond ground to remove any burrs and a cufflink finding is added in either a goldtone or silvertone metal.
Solid silver findings can be supplied upon request (£39.99 per set and supplied with a gloss wood presentation box as standard).
What you will get is a pair of individually made glass cufflinks which are tough and resilient to everyday wear.
Other designs can be made to request including initials and badges, logo's etc which can be sandblast etched on.
As standard they will be supplied in a black leatherette box with a cushion lining. For special occasions a gloss wood box may be supplied for an additional £7.99 (standard with the solid silver findings option)
