Full description

This cute little milk jug is handmade on my potter's wheel using stoneware clay. I leave it to dry for a day or two and then fettle the base and add my potter's mark. The jug is then left to completely dry for a week. Once bone dry it is fired to 1060 degrees centigrade. I use one of my favourite glazes for this little milk jug; a stunning duck egg blue which allows the natural speckle of the clay beneath to show through- the interior has been glazed in transparent. The jug is then fired a second time to 1250 degrees centigrade making it strong and durable.

Dimensions (approx):

Height: 6.5 - 7.5cm

Diameter: 6.5 - 7.5cm

All my work is made with lead free glazes and is dinnerware safe.

This jug is dishwasher safe but I recommend hand washing.
