Whilst visiting friends Gary and I spotted our first Snowdrops. A white drift, softly lit by the early afternoon sunshine which were growing under the low boughs of an old apple tree. Such inspiration just had to be captured in my first linocut print of the year.
They would make a thoughtful gift for any garden lovers, or those celebrating a birthday or special anniversary in January. Or maybe just a little treat to yourself.

Printed on hand press in four colours. Signed, titled and numbered in pencil by the artist.
Featured in the March edition of Country Living Magazine.
Small edition of just 30 prints, (plus 5 Artists Proofs). A certificate of authenticity will be supplied with the print.
Supplied in a mount (matted) - so all you need is a frame.

Making art through the medium of lino is one where surprises are a daily occurrence. Every time an image is hand pressed the anticipation of the reveal when pulling back the paper can make for some wonderful, unique images. The weight of the press, amount of ink and paper used means every single print is different, such a refreshing change in this digital age.
