I'm very excited to bring you these classic pearl drop earrings made using truly beautiful dove grey freshwater pearls with a rainbow sheen. Not only are these pearls perfectly oval shaped but they are also large at 8 mm or just shy of 1/2" in length. They are mounted to move gracefully on my hand crafted silver wire fish-hooks and come carefully packaged in their own gift box.

The purchase of these pearls was a happy accident. I had ordered some very unusually shaped keishi pearls from my usual suppler over the August Bank Holiday weekend, but she called me the next day to say she had sold out of these the day before and was there anything I wanted in exchange. I thought these pearls looked interesting in the photographs and they were about the same price so I told her just to send me them instead. Imagine my surprise when the package arrived and I saw them in the flesh! They really are very classy indeed and I was delighted I had missed out on the keishi pearls.
