I initially worked with hares several years ago, as a theme when studying jewellery design at college. This evolved from my love of the gentle creatures and how they are so often found in mythology. My fascination with them continues!

Full description
The moon gazing hare is cast from an original which I initially carved in copper. The hare is soldered onto a crescent moon which has been hammered to add texture and finished with a star. The completed piece is oxidised to create contrast.
This pendant comes on a silver chain approx 18" length which is finished with a handmade fastening as shown.
Pendant measures approx 57 x 38 mm.
Each pendant is handmade incorporating my cast hare and therefore may vary very slightly from the pendant pictured.
