Full description
A rather smart, little mug which was hand thrown on the wheel. Japanese-style Nuka glaze has been applied over a dark slip which produces some lovely brown and coffee coloured patterns in the surface. The inside is glazed with a dark green, Oribe glaze. Again this has interacted with Nuka around the inner rim to create some lovely, interesting hues. There is a super roll of glaze under the handle which is of generous size and should be large enough to hold with two fingers.
The cup measures just over three inches tall and approx. the same across the mouth. Holds around 250ml of liquid. Mark Smalley's personal symbol is impressed to the base.
