I wanted to make a very textural book cover. Something which felt weighty and substantial. This book is waiting to be filled with ideas and secrets. I liked the way that it was possible to sew into the surface creating a very sculptural object.

Full description
Hand sewn by my own self. This is a square plain book which can be used a s a sketch book or a note book. I have sewn into the cover fabric which is a woollen material, decorating with buttons and also some of my hand painted little fabric squares. Each one a tiny work of art, giving the cover a patchwork feel. The book measures 15cm x 15cm and has a depth of approx. 3cm. I have sewn a small star detail inside the front cover.
