This is a visually stunning shawl in 100% wool, combining style and luxurious warmth in equal measure. Ideal for both formal and daily wear, this is a statement piece that will be admired!
Transposition shawl is a beautiful design composition of Joanne Scrace. Joanne describes this design so well that I could not do it better justice than quoting her own words: "The name of this centre out triangular shawl comes from music, raising or lowering the scales but keeping the intervals the same. Likewise the stitches subtly change from section to section, opening out a little more with each change to become lacier towards the edge." (pg.15 The Shawl Project).
My version of this design is made using a 100% New Zealand new wool. It is warm and soft. This amazing multi-tonal yarn gives each row a distinct colour emphasising the the design which starts solid then gets less so with each new section.
I would strongly recommend cleaning using a non rinse wash aid and drying flat to maintain shape.
