Full description
This postcard sized canvas would look lovely in a vintage setting, it comes complete with a stand to display on a shelf, desk or mantlepiece. It would make a lovely gift for anyone who likes butterflies as it comes complete with a gift-box and a blank card for you to attach to the back of the canvas after you've written your message.
I've stained the background canvas with a coppery coloured ink which has a metallic shimmer. Onto this I've placed the base layer of the image and edged with a copper coloured border, I then hand-cut 2 extra layers to 3D decoupage the main part of the image and butterflies raising their wings slightly to give depth to the image. I've made the gift box from sturdy card in co-ordinating colours, and included a piece of cream card cut to size with double sided sticky tape on one side, this is so you can easily write a message before attaching it to the back of the canvas.
