Every year I put up the tree and I unwrap the decorations. So many of them come with a memory - the place I bought it from or the person who bought it for me - that the decorations themselves become part of my Christmas traditions. Enough people have told me about their 'special' boxes of decorations to make me realise I'm not the only person who feels like that. So, I wanted to create something that would provide people with memories. Tree Jewels are tiny so they can be added to decorations on a big tree but they don't look out of place on a little tree. The idea of creating a tiny picture within such a small space was appealing but the actuality was quite painful. To save myself having to do too many of these, I decided to limit their number by turning them into a limited edition. For people who like collecting limited editions, there will be another in 2016.
