Diamanté is not like other shrugs. It has a cowl, so you're kept warm from the front and well as the back.

It is made in one piece and requires a little seaming.

There are three stitches within the pattern and instructions are given for each. This pattern is perfect for beginners who wish to step into something little more advanced and it's great for those who like to play with colours.

This pattern is for sizes S/M (pictured) : to fit UK size 8-12 (34”-38” bust) M/L: to fit UK size 14-18 (40”-44”). The back measures approx. 34" (28") x 27" (28"). The cowl measures approx. 22" (26") x 17" (19")

The gauge for this pattern is 17 dc across 4" using Stylecraft Alpaca DK and a 6mm hook.

The shape for Diamanté came to me accidentally, when reshaping a garment that I had previously made. I haven't seen anything like this before, so it's uniqueness increased my eagerness to make it.
