Full description
Approx 11.5cm tall from the trunk to the tip of the hanging bail and 6cm wide at the base this Christmas tree decoration is made from hand cut glass. A base of dark green glass is decorated with mint green stips which in turn are decorated with coloured balls of glass, including shimmering dichroic glass. The layers are then placed in the kiln and slowly heated to 800 degrees Celcius to fuse together into one solid piece. It's slowly cooled down to include an annealing process which strengthens the glass. In total this piece spent 11hrs in the kiln. The finished piece is hung on white ribbon.
