I wanted to make something special for my neices, aged 5,7 & 10. They were a huge success with the youngest taking hers to bed with her!!!

Full description
These beautiful fused glass name panes are made to order for names of up to 9 letters long. A coloured glass tile measuring 5cm x 3cm is cut per letter, with the overall length of the piece depending on how many letters are required.
Using the kiln-carving technique, the glass is melted to 800 degrees Celsius and then slowly cooled in the kiln, including an annealing soak to strengthen the glass. The whole firing process takes approx 11hrs. They make beautiful gifts for children who are transfixed by the light shining through the glass.
