When I was a child I would watch the blue tits that had nested in our nesting box feeding their family and on one occasion I even saw one of the young fledging. I think this experience was one of the things that fuelled my interest in nature and animals and I have loved blue tits ever since.

Full description
My suncatchers are handmade using an acrylic sheet which is then edged with lead tape and a hanging ring is attached. Once the suncatcher is made I then hand paint a design onto the acrylic sheet using glass paints.
A wonderful gift for a bird lover or just as a treat for yourself! The design shows a blue tit with a yellow body/chest, a green wing and a white face. This blue tit is perched on a green branch and he has a blue tail, neck and a little blue 'cap' on the top of his head.
The main frame of this suncatcher is approximately 10cm by 10cm/4inch by 4inch.
