Full description
These sparkly earrings are created from a dichroic glass in beautiful iridescent blues. To me the colour is reminiscent of the Mediterranean sparkilng in the sunshine. Just like the sea, the exact shade of blue changes as you move; look straight at the earrings and they will appear to be a more of a dark turquoise shade, but from the side they will change to a deeper sapphire blue.
I created the earrings by fusing 2 layers of glass together in my kiln and then securely fixing the glass to sterling silver post and scroll fittings. The glass rounds are approximately 1cm in diameter.
