This calendar is a unique collection of Schnauzer artwork which has been hand drawn and then hand cut using a scalpel. Each piece has then been scanned before being professionally printed and bound together.

Throughout the calendar there are various reminders of "Schnauzer" events that occur throughout the year including the Annual Schnauzer Walk and Schnauzerfest, together with other big dog events including Crufts and Pupaid.

This calendar will be the perfect addition to any Schnauzer lovers home and something which will be enjoyed throughout the year. It would make a fabulous gift too.

The calendar will be presented in a white cardboard envelope. The calendar measures A4 in size (21cm x 29.5cm) when packaged and measures A3 in size (42cm x 29.5cm) when hung. It has a whole cut to allow ease of hanging and has large boxes so that you can add your important reminders.

This calendar is a limited edition and only available from Handmade Gemms. The proceeds of each one sold will be donated to the two Schnauzerfest Charities.

Handmade Gemms is a proud supporter of Schnauzerfest, a weekend in the Schnauzer calendar dedicated to fundraising walks. The monies raised across the weekend, together with additional monies raised from the sale of merchandise, supports the work of two very important dog rescue centres, The Diana Brimblecombe Animal Rescue Centre (DBARC) and East Midlands Dog Rescue (EMDR).

Both of these rescue centres work tirelessly to rescue breeding dogs from the puppy farming industry, of which, many are Schnauzers. The rescue centres foster and rehabilitate these dogs, and provide any necessary veterinary care, before finding them loving forever homes. The cost of veterinary and recovery care can be rather costly, especially as many of these dogs require corrective cataract surgery.

Having attended Schnauzerfest 2014, I had an idea to showcase some of my papercut artwork combining my love of the Schnauzer breed with my desire to raise some much needed funds.
