Do you love myths, legends and all things dragonish?
Based on a series of sketches made during one tea break; this striking birthstone dragon was born.
Handcrafted from sterling silver, the pendant is styled as a silhouetted dragon curling around its treasure hoard. In this case, the treasure is a 3mm faceted red garnet (pyrope), which is the birthstone for January.
The dragon's silhouette is carefully detailed with flared wing and ridges that follow its curving tail. To finish, the dragon has been lightly textured to give an illusion of scales.
Measuring approximately 2.5 by 2cm, the treasure dragon comes supplied with sterling silver necklace.
And just so you know he is a ‘precious metal’ treasure dragon, he has been hallmarked independently by the Birmingham Assay Office, with the sterling silver standard.
