Full description
A light open weave cotton cheesecloth dyed grey has been used as the base fabric for this scarf. Fine layers of jet black, beautifully soft merino wool have been applied to both sides of the scarf and five roses, pre felted from NZ perendale wool have been added as decoration to both ends of one side of the scarf. Nuno felting causes the wool to migrate through the cotton and bind with it. To keep this scarf light and floaty the wool layers are very fine allowing the base fabric to show through in places which adds to the texture and character of the scarf.
The scarf measures approximately 175cm x 30cm (69" x 12")
Suitable for summer or winter wear this scarf would add to any outfit, smart or casual and is bound to make a statement.

Washing Instructions: handwash in warm water, do not wring, roll in towel to remove excess water, reshape while wet, iron on cool (wool) setting. Don not machine wash or tumble dry.
