This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.

I named this once it was made as I looked at it and saw a rather delicious round fruity pie full of plump berries.

It's to the same design as my Rainbow Circles but this time in shades of pink, plum and purple.

I've included 16 glass nuggets, most of which I have fused myself in my kiln, incorporating quite a lot of dichroic glass which will rather magically alter their colour in different lights. I've also added 2 millefiori beads for extra interest,

There are some really interesting designs in the nuggets and if you look carefully you can probably identify some very exotic berries - just use your imagination.

I've used a good mix of glass for the 8 segment pink and purple border including several pieces of fusing glass as it has intense colours.

The circle is framed for strength and neatness with twisted wire.

This is 14cms in diameter and hangs from a little silvery chain which is securely attached to the top of the suncatcher.

This is totally individual and I am really pleased with it.

I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass for each piece to ensure they are unique.

I can never make another just the same as this, as each fused nugget is quite unique and therefore unrepeatable.
