Ive done fair bit of hillwalking in the Scottish highlands and love the Glensheil area where the Fives Sisters are situated. The five sisters is five mountain tops which make up a long ridge known as the fives sisters of Kintail. I've completed the ridge walk itself a couple of times over recent years. Ive also painted the ridge a couple of times in the past from different but feel this most recent painting shows up the mood and serene quality and the vibrancy accentuates the mood of the mountains and the loch.
