A Blustery Walk is the title of this high quality giclee print and it's not hard to see why! Headscarf Lady is taking her dog Toby for a walk in the country and they are battling against the blustery autumn winds, which are sending up spirals and swirls of fallen leaves. But Toby loves the wind and Headscarf Lady is an 'all weather' type of gal, so neither minds and on they go!
This is a reproduction of an original textile artwork by Heidi Meier. As well as appliqué and free style embroidery, the original textile picture incorporated hand dyed fabrics and ribbon embroidery.
A giclee print simply means that the print is printed using archival quality inks that keep their colour for 80-120 years minimum and do not fade. The paper is high quality 310gsm 100% cotton acid-free fine art paper, printed producing an impressive 2880dpi print. The quality of this lovely print means that the stitches of the original embroidery can be clearly seen, making it hard to distinguish from the original.
The print is signed by Heidi Meier and mounted with a cream quality acid free mount, cello wrapped for protection and ready for you to chose your frame. (Please note the Frame is NOT included!)
The print size is A4, with the mount the size increases to 16 inches by 12 inches (410mm by 310mm approx). This is a standard sized frame, which you can pick up easily and inexpensively.
