Full description
A lovely orange camper van and surf board are depicted on the coastline beside the sea with a jolly lighthouse in the background, set against the crashing waves. A picnic is ready to eat on the grass.
This is a raw edge appliqué artwork and is created using a combination of machine and free style machine embroidery, which is where an artist uses the sewing machine needle as their pencil.
The artwork is mounted on an acid free cream mount and framed under glass with a solid oak frame. There is a signed short bio of the artist Heidi Meier on the reverse.
The overall picture size (ie including frame) is 505mm wide by 450mm high (c19.75 inches wide by 17 inches high). The embroidery aperature window is approx 360mm wide by 300 high (14 inches wide by 12.25 inches high).
Campervans are such fantastic iconic vehicles and this picture is one of three designs which I have made featuring an orange, a red and a turquoise camper van. Please see my shop for other colours and commissions welcome.
