A landscape in a heart and a rainbow thrown in for good measure. This is what I think Stained Glass should be.

Full description
This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
A new design for Xmas 2014 which I christened Rainbow Fields.
I first of all made a Golden Fields version for a commission. Liked what I'd made so much that I straightaway, while the pattern was out, made another this time with the fields in all the colours of the rainbow.
The top of the heart depicts a big yellow sun and a blue sky.
The rest of the heart is an arrangement of fields in rainbow colours and I've included a little lake in shimmering iridescent clear glass as no landscape is complete without a patch of water.
I've used lots of different textures, some iridescent so this piece has a lot of movement.
It has a twisted wire surround for strength and neatness.
This is 12 cm in diameter and hangs from a little silvery chain which is securely attached to the top of the heart.
I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass for each piece to ensure it is unique.
The first 4 photos are of the heart for sale here. The 5th is the previous one I made, now sold.
A lovely present at any time for someone you love and is guaranteed to be totally unique.
