I walked along the beach at Whitby and was inspired by the rocks and pools at the far end of North Beach. The colours of the wet seaweed were almost jewel-like and inspired me to create this version of a seaside postcard.

Full description
An original watercolour painting inspired by the seaside and created on a postcard after a walk along the beach at Whitby.
This watercolour of seaweed and shells clinging to a rock comes with a cream mount, ready to display in a frame of your choice. Alternatively, it can be used as a conventional postcard by writing on the reverse and sending it in an envelope to give as a unique piece of art. The painting is original, not a print.
Measurements: A6 Postcard
Mount size 7 X 5 inches with an aperture of 5 X 3.5 inches
Painted using Professional and Artist's quality Winsor and Newton watercolours with fine-line ink and small amounts of Fimo gloss varnish for shine on the seaweed.
It will be sent wrapped in cellophane within a board-backed envelope using First Class post.
