Full description
'Tiger Tiger' is the name of this textile artwork, made using raw edge appliqué techniques and embroidered with free style machine embroidery, also know as free motion or free machine embroidery. A colourful tiger rests on the ground, yet appears poised to spring if necessary.
This large artwork is mounted on an acid free cream mount and framed under glass with a quality solid oak frame. There is a signed short bio of the artist on the reverse.
The overall picture size (ie including frame) is 505mm wide by 450mm high (c19.75 inches wide by 17 inches high). The embroidery aperature window is 360mm wide by 300 high (14 inches wide by 12.25 inches high).
This is a real premium piece and excellent value for money considering the hours put in to craft this item. If bought for a child's bedroom it would prove a real heirloom for the future!
