Full description
'Sleepy sun bear' is an embroidered raw-edge appliqué artwork, finished with free machine or free motion embroidery. It depicts a sleepy sun bear snoozing happily, resting his head on an old tree trunk whilst overhead, five bees are buzzing around, searching for the nearby honey that is so beloved of sun bears.
The artwork is mounted on an acid free cream mount and framed under glass with a solid oak frame. There is a signed short bio of the artist on the reverse.
The overall picture size (ie including frame) is 505mm wide by 450mm high (c19.75 inches wide by 17 inches high). The embroidery aperature window is 360mm wide by 300 high (14 inches wide by 12.25 inches high).
This is a real premium piece and excellent value for money considering the hours put in to craft this item. A real heirloom of the future!
