With applique detail on the front and the back, this tablet case is bright and cheeful. The Russian Babushka Doll design has a hand painted face and clothing made up of contrasting fabrics. The flowers on the back of the case carry over the floral motif fabric and I have included some quilt stitching at the top above a very handy pocket.
I have a small collection of unusual dolls and really love the Russian ones and the wooden Kokeshi dolls. I think they are cute inspiration for my work...
