Full description
This statement ring features a large domed cabochon of Aventurine - a form of quartz noted for its translucency and the presence of mineral inclusions that create a shimmering effect. The colour of this example is a lovely pale sea green and the mineral particles glint as they catch the light. The stone is set within an 18x13mm sterling silver bezel cup, firmly soldered to a sturdy ring. The ring is 3.2mm deep, with a D-shaped profile, the flat side facing outwards. I make it like this because the stone sits nicely on the flat surface and the round side is very comfortable to wear next to your skin. Traditional silver hallmarks have been applied to the inner surface by the London Assay Office.
The rings currently available are size M and size Q/R. If you would like me to make another size for you then contact me and I can make it as a custom order - which is likely to take a few extra days, or longer if hallmarking is required.
Your ring will be packaged in a smart gift box and despatched by first class post. I can include a small gift card with a message if you add a note to the Folksy check-out page.
