Knit this very cute chunky knit cabled poncho for your little one.
0-6 months, 6-12 months, 1-2 years, 2-3 years

The shape and size of this neat little poncho is designed so that little ones can play and use their hands freely. If you prefer a longer poncho just knit the next size up.

This poncho can be knitted with EITHER
1 strand of Chunky that recommends that recommends 6.5 - 7mm needles.
OR/ 2 strands of DK

I recommend the following:
1 strand of Sirdar Click Chunky (grey poncho)
1 strand of Deramores Vintage Chunky (purple poncho)
OR 2 strands of DK wool (green poncho). I recommend Rowan Pure Wool DK.

Knitted flat on a pair of single pointed needles. The shaping is integral to the knit which means you knit this poncho as one piece and only have to sew up one seam at the centre front and another across the top of the hood.
