Many years ago I had developed a design originating from the logo on the front of the Good News Bibles produced at the time. The basic logo consists of two adjoining diamond shapes with a circle nestled between them. I guess it was meant to be somebody reading or singing from a book, but it seemed to me to also be like two leaves and a flower or fruit. The repeated logo looked like a bush or tree and I felt this made a good interpretation of the design – the ‘good seed’ falling into the ground and producing a hundred-fold, in a rainbow of colours, all different, but in complete harmony.

Tiny diamonds of brightly coloured satin bondawebbed to a dusky pink background fabric with silver sequins as flowers or fruit.
