Full description
Solid 9ct yellow gold modernist style ring formed by traditional gold smithing techniques.
This gorgeous and unique ring has been created using several metal smithing techniques. The highly polished bowl, which protects and secures the round cultured pearl has been cut and then raised from a flat sheet of 9ct gold by hammering on a doming block. A 9ct gold peg secures the pearl in position. The bowl has been highly polished by hand to reflect the pearl.
The dome or bowl has been soldered to the hand made 9ct gold ring shank and further polished.
The beautiful round cultured fresh water pearl has been added to the design, secured by a 9ct peg. The pearl casts stunning reflections on the curved surface of the ring.
The ring measures a UK size N 1/2 according to my ring sizer. Other sizes can be made to order.
The ring has been assayed at the London Assay office and is stamped with my unique makers mark. Please see photos. The ring weighs 3.69g of 9ct gold.
I can make coordinating pieces to order. I can also make this ring in sterling silver or other gold colours and carats. Please ask for details.
The ring will come beautifully gift boxed, ready to be presented as a gift.
