Full description
A sumptuously warm and stylish scarf. This lusciously soft scarf is made from 100% New Zealand wool. I have styled it into an open lace pattern that gives the scarf lovely drape. It is made with the pattern running the length of the scarf rather than across the width. I have then edged with a open loop design giving a delicate shell finish.
The colours in the wool graduate through the dark pink spectrum creating the multi-tonal layering of rows. The design for this scarf is based on the Sofia Cowl pattern by Darla J. Fanton. I altered the pattern so that my item is no longer a continual loop (cowl) but a standard scarf with two ends and have increased the length. My generous finished length of 176 cm is great for wearing the scarf in many different styles.
Hand wash only preferably in a non rinse wash aid. Roll in a towel to remove excess liquid, then lay out flat and reshape carefully to avoid stretching the scarf.
